While working as a Creative and Art Director at Bright Signals, we collaborated closely over the years with Glengoyne, creating a wide range of assets, from social media campaigns to banks of static imagery that supported the brand’s evolution.
Glengoyne takes an unhurried approach to whisky-making, never taking shortcuts or the fast road. Instead, they take pride in crafting quality whisky with care and patience. Our challenge was to reflect this philosophy across touchpoints, creating a visual world that celebrated slow living, craftsmanship, and the act of truly savouring the moment.
To achieve an “unhurried” look and feel that went beyond traditional slow-living imagery, we worked closely with photographer Susan Castillo to create a suite of images featuring the brand’s portfolio. Inspired by Susan’s dynamic compositions, we explored shapes and objects suspended in time, creating imagery that felt both considered and quietly expressive.
We also collaborated with production agency Lost Clock to create a series of serve videos for social media, with an emphasis on detail shots and a pace that, unlike recent social media recipe content, didn’t feel hurried or flashy, just purely detail-led and carefully considered movement.
We also worked with photographer and stylist Clair Irwin and our in-house videographer Pete Lilly to create short lifestyle videos that showcase the unhurried nature of the brand, highlighting moments literally stopped in time and encouraging people to pause and enjoy the moment.
