I’m Lidia Melero, a Spanish Graphic Designer and Art Director based in Glasgow.
With more than ten years of experience across the design and advertising industries, I create thoughtful visual identities, illustrations, and art direction for brands with personality, purpose, and a story to tell.
Studio Melero was born out of a need for creative freedom and a desire to do things my own way within an industry that, at times, felt creatively limiting.
The studio was also born from a yearning for community, a desire to work with like-minded people and brands that don’t necessarily fit the systems they operate in, and instead choose to do things in a way that feels true to themselves and their values.
I’m drawn to brands that are open to having a bit of fun, that don’t take themselves too seriously, and that not only want to stand out from the noise, but are already doing things differently at their core.
Brands that genuinely care about what they do and the world we live in, with a story to tell and a passion to share.
Now, I help those brands and individuals express who they really are. Their values, their personality, and what they have to offer, through thoughtful design, visual storytelling, and art direction.
